Mr. Takatoshi Ishiguro is founder and president of PES Kenchiku Kankyo Sekkei Co., Ltd. and PES International Inc. He both an architect and an engineer, specializing in “green” buildings. Mr. Ishiguro’s approach to creating healthier and more resource-efficient models of construction, renovation, operation, maintenance and demolition has attracted a wide range of clients, including, the Japanese Ministries of Construction and Defence, Ricoh Company, Washington Hotels, Daikin US Corporation, TOTO USA, Inc., Yamaha Motorcycle Co., Yamaha Music Co., Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan Railroad-Shikoku, the City of Nakamura, the City of Nagoya and the Aichi Prefecture.
In 1998, Mr. Ishiguro founded the Japan Green Building Council. And, in 1999, Mr. Ishiguro translated the Rocky Mountain Institute’s “Green Development: Integrating Ecology and Real Estate” into Japanese. Mr. Ishiguro has lectured extensively on the topic of green building guidelines in seminars endorsed by the Japanese Ministry of Environment and the Embassy of the United States of America.
Mr. Takatoshi Ishiguro is registered with the Japan Institute of Architecture (J.I.A.) and the Japan Mechanical and Electrical Installation Engineers Association (E.I.A.).
