GSDConsultants Ken Hepburn
Ken Hepburn earned a degree in economics at the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Hepburn began his marketing and sales career with Sangster’s Old Jamaica, based in Kingston, Jamaica. Having gained experience in the formulation, bottling, packaging, distribution, sales and marketing of a range of rum-based liqueurs, Hepburn moved on and joined the drinks giant, International Distillers and Vintners in the United Kingdom – working on the marketing of the flagship brand, Smirnoff vodka. In 1983, Hepburn joined the Wellcome Foundation’s International Division, marketing over-the-counter (OTC) and consumer products in the Middle East. In 1998, Hepburn joined Marie Stopes International and developed contraceptive brands for family planning and HIV/AIDS prevention programs in the developing world. Today, Ken Hepburn provides private and public sector clients with gender and cause-related marketing consultation. |
